Request account deletion

You can request permanent deletion here without reinstalling or opening the app. If you are already signed in, the fastest path is Settings → Advanced Settings → Danger zone → Delete account.

What we delete

Authentication account and active account metadata
Encrypted sync records and remote attachment objects
Linked RevenueCat customer aliases and entitlement metadata

What is not automatically deleted

Local data remaining on your devices
Backups stored in locations you control
Store transaction records and support correspondence

Retention and subscription details

A detailed deletion receipt is retained for 30 days. A minimal permanent security tombstone—account/user ID, operation binding, actor ID, and deletion time—prevents delayed writers from restoring deleted data and records terminal completion. Provider backups age out under provider schedules.

Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play subscriptions.

Enter the email used for email, Google, or Apple sign-in. For a recovery-phrase account, enter the synthetic account identifier shown in UnboundChat settings.

Keep account secrets private

Never submit your password, recovery phrase, sync passphrase, backup password, or AI provider API keys. We will not ask you to send them.

I understand that this request is for permanent deletion of my UnboundChat account and associated active cloud data, and that it cannot be undone after completion.

Cloudflare verifies and forwards this request to our Gmail inbox. We use the submitted identifiers only to locate the account, verify ownership, fulfill the request, and document completion. See the privacy policy.
